Sunny Deol is a veteran actor of bollywood industry who has always been known for his heroic action scene, full of rage and anger. He is the only star of this industry, which everyone love and cherish for his outstanding action shots in various movies. He is a National Film award winning actor and is serving this bollywood industry since last 25 years.

Sunny was born on October 19, 1961 in New Delhi to veteran actor Dharmendra. Being treated as a son of such a renowned actor Darmendra made it little difficult for him to start his acting career here in India. Hence, after few years of his birth Sunny was sent to England, where he learned theatre and acting. He was trained in web theatre Birmingham, England. Sunny has a younger brother, Bobby Deol who is also a much known face of bollywood industry.  From his mother Prakash kaur, sunny has two sisters who are now settled in California. Father and veteran actor Darmendra  had her second wife as Hema Malini , an iconic face of bollywood industry who ruled film world for decades. Sunny has two half sister from Hema named as Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Esha is also a very famous actress cum dancer.

After achieving complete training from web theatre Birmingham, Sunny first made his debut in bollywood film industry with the movie Betaab in 1983. Later sunny worked in few average commercial movies which gave him fame as a talented actor of bollywood. His first box office hit was Arjun (1985). This movie was highly appreciated by every age group of bollywood lover. In this movie sunny acted as a unemployed hungry youth who is later forced to become a criminal with guns and knives owing to the prevailing circumstances. It was after this movie that sunny got an image of action hero. Meanwhile sunny married with pooja and had two children. Sunny got a real breakthrough with the movie Ghayal (1990). Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, his role as a boxer who fights for the sake of his family gave him a huge success. In the year 1991, sunny was highly acclaimed for his role as a lawyer in the movie Damini. Acting with a popular star Minakshi, sunny created such a magic that it earned him with National Award. Movie like Dakait (1987) and Yateem (1989) worked nicely in the box office and gave sunny an image of bare chest, bulging biceps and broad shouldered action hero. Sunny then gave few more action genre like Tridev(1989) Vishwaatma (1992). Imtihaan, Ghtatak. Ziddi. His film Border by J. P. Dutta was a huge success. He gave few more box office hits with Damini, Darr, Jeet and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. His latest release is Apne in which sunny appeared with his father and brother for the first time in a movie. This movie has done quite well in northern territory of India.
