Salman khan is the most favorite Indian actor, especially among girls and children. His dashing physique with bulging biceps and chest has given him a special category among bollywood actors. It’s not just his fabulously built physique, but also his superb acting talent that has together brought him in to the list of most renowned Indian Actors. Salman has won several awards throughout his career, but has always been surrounded by controversies. Even after so many hurdles to his career, Salman has emerged as a most successful star of bollywood industry.

Abdul Rashid Salim Salman khan, popularly known as salman khan was born on 27th Dec, 1965. His father Salim Khan was a screen writer. Salman’s step mother Helen was a glamorous bollywood actor cum dancer. Since his early life Khan was a devoted body builder, which consequently helped him to achieve fame and name even more easily. He often gave bare chest look on camera. In 2004, Salman was rated as world’s 7th best looking man in the world.

Khan started his acting debut with the film Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988). He got a huge success soon after the release of his second film, Maine Pyaar Kia. Acting opposite to Bhagyashree, Salman created a perfect romantic drama which dominated the hearts of millions of youths all around the Nation. The film became the highest grossing film in the year 1989. Salman achieved Filmfare Best Male Debut Award and even got nomination for Filmfare Best Actor Award. His next release in 1990, Baagi with co-star Nagma was a box office hit. Salman gave a three hit films in the year 1991. He was critically acclaimed for his fabulous work in all the three movies, Sanam Bewafa, Saajan and Patthar Ke Phool. His popularity was rising at its leaps and bounce, but despite of three major hits, Slamn’s all the film in the year 1992 and 1993 was box office failure. Finally in the year 1994, Salman gave a come back with the Hum Apke Hain Kaun. Director Saroj Brajatia’s romantic family film was a huge success all around India as well abroad. Acting opposite to star cast of that time Madhuri Dixit, Salman clicked on the right track and gave the highest grossing film of the year. His next three releases were moderately hit films and couldn’t put much impact on box office. Andaaz Apna Apna (1995), Karan Arjun and Khamoshi (1996). In 1997, Salman gave two releases with Judai and Auzaar. Pyaar Kia To Darna Kya (1998), Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota hai and Kran Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, were some of his critically acclaimed films. Finally in 1999, Salman’s extraordinary appearance in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam gave her a huge applause from all the movie lovers. Meanwhile he got in to controversy with Aishwarya Rai of harassing her on phone. Soon Salman came out of the controversy he gave few hit releases with Chori Chori Chupke Chuple and Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega.

In 2003, Khan’s  Tere Naam created a magical spell on the public and his character as a Krishna, the don converted to a intense lover, was highly appreciated all across the Nation. Salman gave few successful comedies in between with Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Jaan-E-Mann. In 2007 salman’s Salaam E Ishq failed to do quite well, but immediately after that the comedy film Partner created a huge box office hit acting opposite to Gowinda.
