amir21.jpg Aamir Khan is one of the most prominent and successful actor of Bollywood industry. His work has been acclaimed in India as well as in various International Film Festivals. He is a man with variable talents; he is an actor, a producer, a director and a writer. He has won several National and as International awards throughout his career. He can surely be called as a best actor of Bollywood Industry.

Aamir Khan was born in a Muslim family who were root belonged to Heart in Afghanistan. Aamir belonged to a family that has been actively involved in bollywood industry since decades. He is also a descendent of late President of India Dr. Zakir Gussain. His father Tahir Hussain was a producer and uncle Nasi hussain was a director.

As a result of strong filmy background Aamir had a born in talent as an actor. He first tried his performance as a child actor in the film Yadoon Ki Barrat (1973), produced and directed by his family. Aamir when grown up acted as an adult in a supporting role to Ketan Mahta’s Holi (1984).

It was now time for Aamir to prove his acting skill and he did it stunningly well with the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak(1988). Film was a huge bollywood hit boosting his career to its zenith. The song from the movie, “ papa kahte hain” received critical acclaim from every parts of India. Immediately after this huge success Aamir gave little poor performance in late 1980s and 1990s. Then he came up with Dil (1992), which became the highest grossing movie of the year. Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke(1993) and Rangeela(1995) also captured the heart of millions of youth all over India.

In 1996, Aamir won the Filmfare Best Actor award with the film Raja Hindustani acting opposite to kareena Kapoor. Dharmesh Darshan’s raja Hindustani earned him the greatest box office hit if the year. In 1998 Aamir gave few moderately successful films like Ishq and Ghulam, though, both the movie was the highest grossing film of the year. He even gave a song in Ghulam which was highly appreciated by youths. Sarfarosh was only release in the year 1999 adding fame to his career. In the year 2001, Aamir gave a home production release Lagaan. This movie was the greatest ever commercial hit in Bollywood industry. Lagaan gathered huge response from all over the world and created history by becoming the first Indian movie to be nominated in Oscar Award Ceremony. Lagaan earned Aamir with the Filmfare best actor award as well the best film award. After three year break khan came up with Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005). Subsequently Omprakash Verma’a Rang De Basanti ignited the mind of youth all over India and culminated a modern feeling of Nationality everywhere. It earned him with Filfare Best Actor award. Meanwhile the release of Fanaa became the highest grossing Indian film (2006). Aamir’s latest film Taare Zameen Par (2007) working miraculously well and has paved the way for new era in Child care techniques.
