Lisa Ray born April 4, 1972) is an Indo-Canadian Bollywood actress and former fashion model. Lisa Ray first came to the public attention when she appeared in an advertisement for Bombay Dyeing wearing a high-cut black swimsuit opposite Karan Kapoor. Her passian caused to more magazine covers, spokesperson deals and a job as host of her own show-business program. The Times of India awarded Lisa Ray as the “ninth most beautiful woman of the millennium”. Lisa began her acting career with the Bollywood film Kasoor in 2001 where her voiceover was duplicated by Divya Dutta as she could not speak Hindi. Her performance was noticed by serveral directors and after that Ray is seen in several Bollywood and international productions as from Canada, Europe and the United states.
