Touted as desi Brangelina, filmdom’s hip duo Saifeena seems to be going all out to keep the comparison live and kicking with the ‘it’ Hollywood couple. Bent on striking a chord with their firangi counterparts, Saifeena are set to play the popular couple onscreen as they gear up to feature in the Indian remake of the blockbuster film ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’.

Looks like the snooty attitude and flamboyant style was not enough to dub them as the Indian Brangelina! The couple, as reported, will be seen in some saucy sizzling action scenes in Agent Vinod, which in more ways than one is inspired by ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’.

According to the latest Bollywood news, Kareena plays a spy, just like Saif, in the film. Incidentally, Kareena has always wanted to essay the role of Angelina Jolie in ‘Lara Croft -The Tomb Raider’ and now thanks to her beau her dream of kicking some butt will come true.

Only that it might be Saif’s butt she will be seen kicking in the movie!

The dainty dame is expected to go under rigorous training to get into an athletic shape. According to sources, Bebo will be seen in not only some fist-to-fist combat but also striking action sequences with Saif.

Confirming Bebo’s role, Saif told a news daily, “She does play an undercover agent from another country. Kareena will do everything I do in the film, and she’ll do it even better. She will kick butt better than all the other girls in our industry, that’s for sure.”

Bizarre has a new meaning and it's called KAMBAKKHT ISHQ. Of late, Akshay Kumar has earned the reputation of making you laugh in film after film. You expect KAMBAKKHT ISHQ, his new outing, to transport you to ha-ha-land, given the smart-n-chic promos of the film. KAMBAKKHT ISHQ belongs to the same family of films which have wooed the masses, such as MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI, WELCOME, SINGH IS KINNG and GOLMAAL RETURNS. The prime motive is to entertain you for the next 2 hours, logic be damned. Write your own movie review of Kambakkht Ishq Yet, KAMBAKKHT ISHQ is different because it depicts the battle of the sexes, a theme that's rarely depicted on the Hindi screen. The lingo is poles apart, so is the attitude. In fact, this is a modern take on relationships, with the two hours divided between laughter and emotions, frivolous and reality. default-300x250.tpl Let's get this straight. KAMBAKKHT ISHQ works in most parts thanks to the kind of star power and energy that the two actors pack in -- Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. It would've been difficult to hold the film from falling apart had the two actors not been competent enough to carry off their respective parts. Also, the presence of Hollywood stars -- Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards -- the first on the Hindi screen, is an added bonus. 1 pe 2 ka offer; Bollywood stars ke saath Hollywood free! The focus is on the entertainment quotient. There are moments when you laugh so uncontrollably that it gets embarrassing and there are times when you continue smiling, even during the most ordinary scenes. But KAMBAKKHT ISHQ dips in its second hour because you expect it to be as frivolous as the first hour, but it changes tracks and gets emotional. Things would've gone wrong had the end stumbled and fumbled, but it doesn't. The finale, in fact, takes the film back to the level that one expects from a film of this magnitude. To sum up, KAMBAKKHT ISHQ offers you value for time and also, value for money. It offers loads of entertainment in those 2 + hours, loads of glamour in those 130 odd minutes, from start to end. Sure, there are blemishes, but they're trivial when you look at the larger picture. KAMBAKKHT ISHQ explores the relationship between two individuals who are as different as chalk and cheese. Viraj [Akshay Kumar] is a stuntman in Hollywood, who lives by the mantra 'women are only good for two things'. Simrita [Kareena Kapoor] is a firebrand who is more than able to stare down the most arrogant male with her caustic wit and sardonic tongue. So what happens when the two people who hate each other the most meet at Simrita's best friend Kamini's [Amrita Arora] and Viraj's brother Lucky's [Aftab Shivdasani] wedding? A wedding that both Viraj and Simrita are violently opposed to and desperate to stop. Sparks fly... the battle of the sexes in on. Director Sabbir Khan's motive is simple: Entertain for the next 2 hours. The entire first hour moves at a lightening speed, making you enjoy the war of words between Akshay and Kareena at regular intervals. The first half abounds in terrific moments, but I'd like to single out at least three... One, the church wedding of Aftab and Amrita. When the battle lines are drawn. Two, the sequence at the operation table, when Akshay spots Kareena. Three, the interval point. The pendant connection. Howlarious sequences all! The post-interval starts with a bang, with Akshay hearing the 'Om Mangalam' chant just about everywhere -- while sleeping, in the shower, in the rest room, even at an award function. The award function sequence is a double whammy. You get to watch Stallone and also the scene is superbly structured, executed and enacted. Things are smooth sailing till the emotional angle comes up. The narrative dips in those 20 odd minutes. The mood suddenly shifts from laughter to sadness. The makers may argue that a twist in the tale is justified from the writing point of view, since the emotional track is vital for any love story, but the fact remains that one does miss the entertainment quotient here. In fact, the dip in the second hour erodes, to a large extent, the impression that the first half had built so magnificently. Director Sabbir Khan picks up a theme that may catch you by complete surprise, but marinates it in entertainment, garnishes it well and presents it like never before. The review would be incomplete if we failed to highlight the grandiose look and the lavish production values thanks to the no-holds-barred expenses by producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Each frame looks ostentatious and glitzy. Music is up to the mark, with three interesting tracks -- 'Om Mangalam' [RDB], 'Lakh Lakh' and 'Bebo' [Anu Malik]. Cinematography [Vikas Sivaraman] is magnificent, with the DoP doing complete justice to the production values. KAMBAKKHT ISHQ belongs to both, Akshay and Kareena. Akshay is dynamic this time. He received a lot of flak for CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA and there was this nagging feeling that the negativity would spill over to KAMBAKKHT ISHQ. But Akshay is in terrific form here and delivers, without a shred of doubt, a bravura performance. If you loved him in NAMASTEY LONDON and SINGH IS KINNG, you'd fall in love with Akki and his comic timing all over again this time. Kareena left an indelible impression in JAB WE MET and creates a similar impact, albeit in a different role. Her role has shades of 'Poo' in K3G, but the glam looks combined with that rare confidence takes this performance to dizzy heights. Clearly, Kareena is miles ahead of her contemporaries as far as talent goes and this film proves it yet again. Aftab and Amrita are perfect for their parts. Vindu Singh supports well. Javed Jaffrey doesn't make a mark because the role has no connection with the main plot. Kirron Kher is getting typecast. Boman Irani is hilarious in that lone sequence. Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards are well integrated in the narrative. On the whole, KAMBAKKHT ISHQ will strike a chord with the youth and those who relish zany and madcap entertainers. The first half is tremendous, while the second half takes a dip, with the film picking up towards the climax. At the box-office, the film will see an earth-shattering opening weekend and a historic Week 1. It remains to be seen how this film fares in its second weekend/week, given the massive number of screens it has opened globally [2,000 +]. However, the timing is most appropriate [the viewer is thirsting for a biggie] and the hype is tremendous, which should prove very advantageous for the film.

Saif-Kareena Fight For Agent Vinod

Well, well guys don’t get it wrong. They are not fighting in real (luckily/unluckily), but will soon be seen fighting with each other in their forthcoming film Agent Vinod. The fight will be kind of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Mr. & Mrs. Smith. In the film, Kareena and Saif both be playing spy. Like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone shown their action side in Don and Chandani Chowk To China, Kareena also always wanted to play an action role. However Saif fulfilled her dream by casting her in his home production. There is also a buzz that Kareena will co-produce the film.

Confirming the news Saif said, “We’ll definitely be producing films together. It will give us a chance to grow as actors. The idea is for both of us to grow together as human beings and artistes. Although Kareena’s name is not in our production logo, she is as much the producer of Agent Vinod as I. I prefer not to have our names in the production logo. All I want to do is make great films, live healthy, eat good food, read comic books and novels, exercise and have Kareena by my side. I couldn’t have asked for more. I’m smiling like an idiot even as I speak.”

Kareena role in the film will may have resemblance to the role of Rehana Sultan in Agent Vinod (1977) and Mala Sinha in Aankhen. However director Sriram Raghavan denies any kind of resemblance or inspiration from these oldies. He explains, “It’s a spy drama, which will have its roots in the films you’ve mentioned. But the only similarity to the Rajshri espionage film with Mahendra Sandhu and Rehana Sultan is the title, which the Rajshris so graciously gave us.”

Talking about Kareena’s role in the film, Saif said, “She does play an undercover agent from another country. Kareena will do everything I do in the film, and she’ll do it even better. She will kick butt better than all the other girls in our industry, that’s for sure.”

Bipasha refuses to give in to Hollywood star’s demand

Bipasha Basu has recently signed an international project with Hollywood star Billy Zane. But she is not willing to bend down to anyone’s demands.

She has made it clear that she is not going to go out of her way to keep the makers of the film happy. And the makers of the film just tasted one such experience.

A photo shoot with the main leads of the film had been planned and they were to even do a look test together. The shoot had been planned in Los Angeles because Billy Zane did not want to travel to India just for a photo shoot.

The producers felt they could convince Bips easily to fly down to LA. But Bipasha refused.

Her argument was that if the film was to be shot in India and Zane had signed the film, then it should not be a great deal for him to come to India for the shoot.

Since it is a joint venture, Bipasha wanted to assert her stand as well.

The producers have not managed to convince Billy yet, but Bips is not relenting too.

Been there, seen that, moved on. RUNWAY doesn't have anything new to offer, it's a run of the mill action love story recited in the most routine manner. It reminds you of the Emraan Hashmi starrer AWARAPAN, but it is too ordinary and hardly has anything going in its favour. Allan [Amarjeet] becomes a contract killer to save his love Melvyna [Deepal Shaw]. Melvyna had unfortunately fallen prey to drug addiction and was now battling for life, getting treated for drug addiction and other complications which had raised their ugly head due to prolonged drug abuse. Besides, the screenplay is too weak since the story wastes valuable time in ineffective emotions and scenes, whereas the encashable portions have been cut short. Especially the climax, which has been altered so severely that it gives an incomplete feeling. The beautiful locales of Mauritius too havenât been explored completely. Music by Shamir Tandon is dull, except the hit track 'Khuda Kay Liye', which is consistently repeated in the film. Amarjeet is okay as an actor, but does well in action scenes. Tulip Joshi under-performs. Deepal Shaw is below average. Sharat Saxena has a minimal role. Shawar Ali puts on an act. Lucky Ali is adequate. On the whole, RUNWAY is saddled with a weak script and therefore, has limited chances.

One of the reasons why NEW YORK works is because not once does Kabir Khan borrow from the past or tilt towards predictable stuff. You just can't guess what and where the story is headed and what the culmination would be. The director and his team of writers establish the plot and characters beautifully, but the real action is reserved for the second half. The nightmarish experience that John undergoes is disturbing, but lifts the film several notches up. But NEW YORK has its share of loose ends. The film dips in the second hour. It tends to gets lengthy before it reaches a powerful, brilliantly executed climax. Also, a few sequences only add to the length of the film, which could've been curtailed in the writing stage itself. Director Kabir Khan picks up a real incident -- innocent civilians being suspected as terrorists, soon after 9/11 -- and weaves a brilliant tale around it. The screenplay is its biggest star, without a doubt. Given the fact that NEW YORK isn't one of those routine masala fares, Kabir has injected songs only when required. Cinematography is striking. Now here's another surprise. John, Katrina and Neil, all actors, deliver their career-best performance. If the first half belongs to Neil, John takes over the second hour completely. John is superb when he recalls the past. You can feel his pain, that effective is his performance. Also, note his expressions towards the end. This is a different John, for sure. Just one word for his performance -- fabulous! Neil was remarkable in JOHNNY GADDAAR, but disappointed in AA DEKHEN ZARA. Fortunately, he's in top form this time around. Katrina gives you the biggest surprise. Known for her glamour roles, Katrina proves that she can deliver if the director and writer offer her a role of substance. She's outstanding. In fact, people will see a new, different Katrina this time. Irrfan is, as always, first-rate. On the whole, NEW YORK is amongst the finest films produced by Yash Raj. At the box office, there's no stopping this one. Go for it now!

EXPECTATIONS Soham Shah's last film Kaal had boasted of chartbuster music. So much so, that it is selling even till date while the songs continue to play across satellite channels. Now with a bigger star cast and much bigger budget in hands, Soham returns with Luck which is easily one of the most anticipated films of the season. Its thriller promo has done the trick and one expects that the music too will follow the high adrenalin mode and get the right thump in place; something which is much needed for the movie belonging to this genre. MUSIC Salim-Sulaiman and lyricist Shabbir Ahmed had created 'dhoom' with the soundtrack of Kaal and with Luck they come back to the scene once more. As expected, the title song ' Luck Aazma ' arrives first and goes on to find a place throughout the album with two more versions to follow. Sukhvinder Singh sounds ordinary in the original version but things get seriously zany once the 'remix version' of the song arrives a little later. A number about trying one's luck and taking risks that could be the now or never moment for the protagonists, ' Luck Aazma ' with supporting vocals by Satya Hinduja is a kind of number that should find a place throughout the film's narrative as a background score. Write your own music review of Luck For the first time in the album a female voice is heard and it's a pleasant surprise indeed since the person making her debut behind the mike is none other than Shruti Haasan herself. Though it's a slow start for her version of the title track (named 'Aazma - Luck Is The Key'), one looks forward to what Shruti has to offer as she gets into the pop mode. She is well supported by Clinton Cerejo who gives her company with her English portions. Arrangements are a little different for this version as Salim-Sulaiman gives it an entirely Western touch unlike the Sukhwinder version that had an Indian feel to it. Shruti does well with her debut and it would be interesting to see if she manages to get a music video all for herself for this very number! default-300x250.tpl Things get a little sombre with 'Khudaya Ve' that does remind of 'Yaar Mangyasi' [Kaante] but doesn't quite come close to it. A sad number about a protagonist missing the ones he loved most, this Salim Merchant sung number doesn't grow on you in spite of repeated hearing and at maximum turns out to be a passable inclusion in the album. Entry of it's 'remix version' is another surprise since a slow moving number like this which didn't have much appeal to begin with itself didn't quite warrant another version. This is not all as there is third version of the song as well, what with both Salim and Sulaiman coming together behind the mike for the version that is titled 'Radio Mix'! Anvita Dutt Guptan is the guest lyricist in Luck as she contributes with 'Jee Le'. A number that comes with loads of attitude, 'Jee Le' is a Shruti Pathak number with Naresh Kamath giving her good support. A catchy track with a slight Middle-East flavour to it, it has a faint resemblance to 'Halla Re' [Neil N Nikki] that again was a Salim-Sulaiman composition. No, we are not really looking at a chartbuster track here but it has enough fodder to warrant a flashy picturisation and some glitzy choreography. Add to that a bevy of beauties and 'Jee Le' should be a good treat for eyes. And yes, this time around, presence of a 'remix version' does make sense! However, there is a surprise dampener in the form of 'Laaga Le'. Why a dampener? Because the singer at the helm of affairs is Anushka Manchanda who is known for being choosy about her assignments. However, 'Lagaa Le' is nothing more than being plain and simple pedestrian as it is straight out of 80s and doesn't have a fresh appeal to it. Expect the song to play primarily in the background as characters continue to be engaged into something far more interesting on the fore front. With Robert'Bob'Omulo as the supporting voice, 'Lagaa Re' is as forgettable as it gets. OVERALL It would be just so wrong to compare Luck with Kaal as it doesn't even come remotely close to it. The album had so much potential in it and could well have been the Dus moment for the composer duo here. However, in spite of all the technology and free space for experimentation available to them, Salim-Sulaiman don't come up with anything better than a merely average soundtrack. EXPECTATIONS Huge. Very huge in fact are the expectations from the soundtrack of Love Aaj Kal. And why not? First and foremost it's the return of Jab We Met team of director Imtiaz Ali, composer Pritam and lyricist Irshad Kamil. Now that's a reason huge enough. Moreover, with Saif Ali Khan playing the twin role of an actor and producer, one can be rest assured that Love Aaj Kal would be a zero compromise project both from the film and music front. No wonder, Love Aaj Kal is not just the hottest film of the season but also has listeners waiting to lay their hands on yet another blockbuster musical score. Write your own music review of Love Aaj Kal MUSIC What a kick start! That's an immediate reaction the moment you are through listening to the opening number 'Aahun Aahun' for the first 100 seconds. A true blue fusion piece that has various flavours of Punjabi, Hindi as well as English coming together not just lyrically but also musically, 'Aahun Aahun' has a HIT written all over it. Whether it's the way Pritam puts together his entire composition in place (a difficult one at that), Irshad brings the young flavour on or singers Neeraj Sridhar, Master Saleem and Suzanne set the perfect mood, 'Aahun Aahun' is a winner. One can't wait to see what director Imtiaz Ali and his choreographer have done to this number that is all set to be a rage, especially in it's 'remix version'. Watch out for those guitar strings that open and close the song. default-300x250.tpl Just as you are completely overwhelmed by 'Aahun Aahun' comes the 'naagin' tune that has made Love Aaj Kal the much noticeable project that it is today. The moment you hear Pritam getting his rearrangement in place for this half-a-century old tune, you know that he is a master when it comes to getting an age old tune a new age sound. Soon after Neeraj Shridhar gets into action and from there it's time for 'Twist' which is a chart topper in the very first listening. Colleges, discothÃ¨ques, autos, marriage celebrations, youth night outs - expect the song to be played all over in its complete glory. Whether it's the original or its racy 'remix version', 'Twist' is going to stay alive for many more weeks to come! After a couple of 'come-on-hit-the-dance-floors' numbers comes 'Chor Bazari' which brings in a certain feel of relaxation to the album. If one hears closely, the number belongs to the kind of setting that Vishal-Shekhar have been known for. There is a R.D. Burman influence in 'Chor Bazari', especially the 'antara' portion. Though with Neeraj Shridhar at the helm of affairs, there is a definite Pritam touch to the proceedings as well; however at heart, this number carries an innocent yet mischievous feel to it. Sunidhi Chauhan joins the fun as well in 'Chor Bazari' (also appearing in the remix version) that boasts of good lyricial quality to it. Expect a 'dilli darshan' with 'Chor Bazari' which is set in the streets of the city! It's time to reprise the mood of 'Tum Se Hi' [Jab We Met] and 'Is This Love (Kahin Na Laage) ' [Kismat Konnection] with the arrival of 'Yeh Dooriyan'. Mohit Chauhan is the common factor again in this melodious romantic number that has as much chances of being popular as the three songs preceding it, hence making it four in a row for the team of Love Aaj Kal. A song that has slight hint of sadness to it, 'Yeh Dooriyan', as the title suggests, questions the relevance of distance and separation of two hearts. With a touch of melancholy to it, the number is a must for the two hearts that could perhaps be on the verge of separation but may well be coming together again. Love Aaj Kal continues to be unstoppable as it comes up with yet another gem - 'Ajj Din Chadheya'. With Rahat Fateh Ali Khan at the helm of affairs and Irshad Kamil spinning his words well yet again, the song has melody as its forte and doesn't bear any Western influence whatsoever. Bringing on further variety in the album, 'Ajj Din Chadheya' has an old world charm to it that makes it difficult to put the album down. A number that is bound to work quite well in aiding the narrative of Love Aaj Kal while being played in the background, the song is about the protagonist asking God for getting the love of his life. It's time to enter a Punjabi household with 'Thoda Thoda Pyar' that has a 'sangeet' ceremony kick starting the proceedings. The sound of 'shaava' and 'aahas' coupled with a bunch of women setting the 'shaadi-byaah-ka-mahaul' with a 'desi' touch is what makes 'Thoda Thoda' different from the rest of it's ilk. Sunidhi Chauhan gets her first solo number in the album and she does well in getting the nuances right for 'Thoda Thoda Pyaar' that could easily have fell into the trap of being one of those dozen odd marriage celebration songs with a Punjabi setting that are unleashed every year. However, it is credit to Pritam and his arrangements that give a hint of a 70s setting to 'Thoda Thoda Pyaar', hence making it sound different from what one has heard in the past. The man for all seasons, K.K., is last to come with 'Main Kya Hoon'. Typically in most of the albums, the order of song placement is with the best coming at the top. However, such is the beauty of Love Aaj Kal that even 'Main Kya Hoon' could well have been the first song of the album. It's return to modern times with this solo track that has a happy feel to it with a definite Pritam touch. Whether it's the interlude musical pieces or the overall pace of the song, 'Main Kya Hoon' scores and ensures that the music of Love Aaj Kal doesn't have a wrong foot set throughout it's 50 odd minute duration. OVERALL It sounds too good to be true but Pritam seems to have kept all his brilliant compositions on hold between Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal. Yes, he has had quite a few good albums in the form of Race, Jannat, Singh Is Kinng and Kismat Konnection in the interim as well but his attachment of Imtiaz and his film is visible in the compositions of Love Aaj Kal. It is not everyday that each and every song turns out to be extremely good in an album but that's indeed the case with Love Aaj Kal. This one is going to be unstoppable once it hits the stands! Prabhas replied, “That must be because of my brought up. Unknowingly I may feel uncomfortable while acting in intimate scenes with heroines”.

Then Laxmi asked, “Aren’t there any romantic scenes with Kangna Ranaut in Puri’s Ek Niranjan?”

Prabhas replied, “If Kangna is there as heroine it doesn’t mean that there should be romantic scenes”.

Laxmi said, “Oh no, you should make use of Kangna Ranaut and establish romance on screen. You have huge female following and down the line you have to do many films those require acting in romantic scenes as well. I’ll direct your next romantic scene”.

Then Prabhas replied, “I’m struggling to act with heroine itself. If there is a lady director, my troubles will be multiplied”.

“No I’ll be there to break that jinx”, replied Laxmi Prasanna.

The talk was carried very interestingly and hilariously.

Priyanka Chopra honoured at the 12th Shanghai International Film Festival with ‘Jin Jue Award’

This weekend, Priyanka Chopra was invited by the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) for their closing ceremony on June 21, 2009 where she was presented with the Festival's top award - The Jin Jue Award. This award marks the tenth award for her in the past six months.

The festival's highest honour and main prize is the "Jin Jue" award. It is a symbol of the traditional orient culture, is an ancient Chinese wine container which has a uniquely beautiful shape and a gracefully antique style. Priyanka Chopra was the first Indian actor to be presented with this honour on an international platform for her contribution to cinema.

Says Priyanka Chopra, “I feel very privileged to receive this honor from the Shanghai International Film Festival. As an actor, it is very encouraging to be recognized for your work. For me, an award such as this on such a big international platform gives me an opportunity to present India and our cinema to the world.”

Priyanka was very excited about receiving the award which is the highest honor of the SIFF and was equally excited about her visit to China. She is however hugely disappointed that she was not be able to be there due to a very sudden relapse of a serious stomach infection and was advised by doctors against travelling.

The SIFF is held each year for last 10 years and attracts every year a range of well known international actors and actresses and is the Asian Film Industries mega event of the year. Some of the renowned celebrities who were also present at this year’s ceremony were Isabelle Hupert, Quincy Jones. Ewan Mc Gregor, Michael Rosenberg (Director the Reader), Stephen Daldry, Karen Mok, Lucelia Santos amongst others.

John not a mediator between Bipasha and Katrina

The rumor mills of B-Town were spinning the news of an ongoing affair between the beautiful Katrina Kaif and John Abraham recently. This is especially interesting in light of the animosity between the sultry Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif.
Now John was recently asked in an interview if he would try and finish this hostility between his love Bips and ‘New York’ co-star Katz.

All John had to say was, “I am not here to play the role of a mediator. Bipasha is a grown up, mature woman. So is Katrina Kaif. They are both experienced enough to sort out their own issues. I was there to play the character assigned to me in the film and not to act as a mediator between Katrina and Bipasha.”

Even Katrina had similar views when asked if she would try and bridge the differences between beau Salman and John.

Katz and John are always found praising each others’ performance in their upcoming movie. They got along well during the shooting of the movie too.

But John has always tried and kept his professional and personal life as separate as possible from each other.

Bollywood actoress Katrina Kaif is keen on coming to Kolkata to promote her new film New York.

'I really want to come to Kolkata…the city has been lucky for me,' Kats told Metro.

'I am pushing the producers-Yash Raj Films, to come to Kolkata. It' s also an important sector and I want to be there. I hope the producers tie up with some multiplexes and things work out,' said the actor, who will be sharing the screen with Jogn Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh in New York.

Katrina, of course, is well-aware of the return-of Bollywood scenario.

Neetu Chandra was recently in news due to her hot photoshoot for the Man Magazine and that too with a girl. You must be knowing her as she was the one actresses in the superhit movie “Garam Masala”. She is taking these steps tp be the next bombshell following Mallika Sherawat and few other actresses.

The shoot was carried out outside a 3-star hotel. However, when a bunch of hotel’s customary male guests watched it, they raised objections at the actress and the magazine. Things took an ugly turn when the group started yelling “Jai Maharashtra.”
Claiming that the photo shoot promoted lesbianism, the group became aggressive and tried to physically intimidate the crew. The group claimed to have links with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and even tried to impound the camera, leaving the shoot incomplete.

Neetu said, “Though the concept about two girls getting very intimate was a bit outrageous, we were doing it very aesthetically. But these men were a frustrated lot and couldn’t take the heat. They only saw nudity in our concept.”

Paying Guests (2009) Hindi Music Review

Watch and listen to the Music Videos and Songs from the latest Bollywood Film Paying Guest (2009) starring Shreyas Talpade, Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Celina Jaitley, Riya Sen, Sayali Bhagat in lead roles, directed by Paritosh Painter. Sajid-Wajid did the music direction in the Hindi Movie "Paying Guest" and songs are pretty good.

Never judge a book by its cover. But we do! We tend to get carried away by eye-catching promos that a film-maker unleashes prior to a film's release. We act in haste, rush to a nearby cineplex and soon realise that the best parts were actually highlighted in the promos itself. That's exactly what you feel when you watch PAYING GUESTS, helmed by first-timer Paritosh Painter. Comedy is serious business and Paritosh Painter ought to know this by now, since he has successfully directed a number of plays in the past. Sadly, PAYING GUESTS stands on a waferthin plot, although Paritosh tries hard to add meat to the skeletal body. The film doesn't have the power to hold your attention for the next 2 hours, although it does [intermittently] make you smile or break into a guffaw. Write your own movie review of Paying Guests Earlier too, we've had our macho men getting disguised as girls [Rishi Kapoor and Paintal in RAFOO CHAKKAR were hilarious], but PAYING GUESTS tries so hard to tickle your funny bone, but falls flat. Final word? This comedy is more of a tragedy... for its viewers! What happens when four fun-loving boys [Shreyas Talpade, Jaaved Jaffrey, Ashish Chowdhry and Vatsal Sheth] begin a crazy house hunt? In the search for a new accommodation, these crazy friends manage to convince their crazier landlord Ballu [Johny Lever] to keep them as paying guests, but Ballu has one condition, i.e. he wants only couples. default-300x250.tpl However, the problem is they are all bachelors. Who will play their wives? PAYING GUESTS may be a remake of a play, but it also bears a striking resemblance to Sachin's super-successful Marathi film ASHI HI BANWA BANWI. PAYING GUESTS starts off very well, but runs out of fuel in its initial 30 minutes itself. You do laugh aloud initially and expect to wear a smile on your face all through the film, but the smile turns into a smirk gradually. Actually, the on-screen characters laugh all the while, not the audience. PAYING GUESTS fails to deliver thanks to a poor screenplay. Barring the four heroes and the landlords [Johny Lever and Delnaaz Paul], the remaining characters in the film just don't work. The four leading ladies have nothing worthwhile to do and even the negative forces here [Chunkey Pandey and Inder Kumar] are wasted. The climax - in a theatre, with every character doing a spoof - is a straight lift from JAANE BHI DO YAARO. Paritosh Painter had an interesting idea on hand, but the writing plays the villain here. Sajid-Wajid's music is a ear-sore. Barring 'Jack & Jill', the remaining songs lack energy. Visually, the film looks good, with the locales of Bangkok and Pattaya adding freshness to the enterprise. Of the cast, Shreyas is the best, followed by Javed, then Ashish and then Vatsal - in that order. The leading ladies don't have much to do, but Celina and Neha are most noticeable. Riya and Sayali Bhagat don't get any scope. Johny Lever is in form and so is Delnaaz Paul. Chunkey Pandey is alright, while Inder Kumar is wasted. Asrani stands out, while Viju Khote and Paintal are okay. On the whole, this paying guest is just not welcome!

Hum Phirr Mileinge…

There are times when you genuinely feel that there's bankruptcy of ideas in Bollywood. And you feel strongly this when you watch a film like HUM PHIRR MILEINGE. The recipe is simple. Add DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE, QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK, HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM and KABHI KHUSHI KABHIE GHAM, shake it rigorously and presto, HUM PHIRR MILEINGE is ready to be served. To put it bluntly, HUM PHIRR MILEINGE is archaic and outdated. You actually pinch yourself while watching this one. Is this real? Perhaps, director Manish Goel is completely clueless about the kind of cinema being made these days. The direction is unbelievably weak and so is the writing. Write your own movie review of Hum Phirr Mileinge... Frankly, nothing works in this film, except for a couple of tuneful songs [Sandesh Shandilya], which, sadly, show up even if there's no situation. Given its poor script, the actors go through their parts mechanically. It's sad to see a talent like Sarwar Ahuja being reduced to such roles. Newcomer Kkhushi [veteran Tabassum's grand-daughter] gets no scope. Also, she could've done without those layers of makeup. Vikram Gokhale and Smita Jaykar [Kkhushi's parents] and Kiran Kumar and Rati Agnihotri [Sarwar's parents] are stereotypical. The actress playing Kkhushi's aunt is loud. On the whole, HUM PHIRR MILEINGE is boring stuff.

Let’s Dance

Just last week, Vashu Bhagnani showcased his son Jackky Bhagnani's acting skills in KAL KISSNE DEKHA. This week, another father - Arvind Patel - attempts to showcase his daughter Gayatri Patel's dancing skills in LET'S DANCE, directed by Aarif Sheikh. Come to think of it, such launch pads often act as a showreel for furthering the career in Bollywood. In that respect, LET'S DANCE succeeds... to an extent. But there's a hitch! The film bears an uncanny resemblance to Ramgopal Varma's immensely likable RANGEELA and Yash Raj's utterly forgettable AAJA NACHLE. No issues if LET'S DANCE seeks inspiration from elsewhere [coincidence?], but in an effort to showcase Gayatri's dances, the remaining aspects take a backseat. The dances appeal, but the love story doesn't. And the crime angle, injected in the plotline, is a big bore. Write your own movie review of Let's Dance Let's be specific. Gayatri's dances are a treat [she dances exceptionally well], but her love interest cuts a sorry picture. The street children's connection with a crook also seems unwarranted. In a nutshell, LET'S DANCE will be best remembered for Gayatri's exuberant dances. That's it! default-300x250.tpl LET'S DANCE is about a girl who gives direction in life to a group of street kids. Young and peppy, she is a dancer who runs her own dance school and plays the catalyst in the story. She comes in contact with a bunch of street kids and hence, begins a journey she believes in. Editor-turned-director Aarif Sheikh has shot the film well, but he could've done with a tighter script. Music is a plus point, but what stays with you is the choreography of all songs, especially 'Taare Todh Ke La'. Gayatri Patel is a fine actress and her dancing skills catch your attention. The two heroes don't cut ice, but the kids do, mainly the eldest kid who talks and behaves like a real tapori. On the whole, LET'S DANCE is too ordinary, with its share of limitations.

Says a source close to the sex bomb, “Mallika and Usher were on site to support LA’s Better Educated Students for Tomorrow (BEST) — a nationally recognised after-school education, enrichment and recreation programme serving more than 28,000 children with the greatest needs and fewest resources across Los Angeles.”
Mallika and Usher were seen having a good time. Usher has promised to dedicate a song for her. “Oh my God! Usher’s promised to devote a song to me. It’s very exciting,” said Mallika.

Let’s Dance

EXPECTATIONS When the name of a film is Let's Dance, it is but natural to expect the album to be comprising of quite a few dance numbers. Well, there is that and a lot more to offer if one looks at the album cover since Let's Dance boasts of as many as 16 tracks (including a couple of remixes and extended versions). The film primarily features newcomers but one does expect a surprise or two in store from this album that has music by Vipin Mishra and lyrics by Prateek Bhardwaj, Ashish Khazanchi, Vipin Dhyani and Vipin Mishra. MUSIC First to arrive is the title song 'Let's Dance' which is written by Prateek Bharadwaj and has an early 80s disco feel to it (remember songs from films like Star etc.?) A Sunidhi Chauhan number that has Kirti Sagathia joining her towards the end (and change the dimension of the song with his rustic singing); 'Let's Dance' is a stage/rehearsal number that marks a good beginning to the album. Since it is the flagship song of the album, 'Let's Dance' appears in two more remix versions by Suzie Q and DJ Kunaal Sharma. Write your own music review of Let's Dance There is a pleasant surprise in store with Sunidhi coming up with 'Taare Todh Ke La'. An Ashish Khazanchi written number with melody at the heart of affairs, the song is escalated with Western arrangements that add to the flow rather than hampering it. A slow moving track which has composer Vipin Mishra also coming along with Sunidhi behind the mike, 'Taare Todh Ke La' reminds of the kind of tracks that were once rendered by Falguni Pathak in dozens. Sunidhi Chauhan makes it three in a row with 'Sansanati' that comes with loads of attitude to it. An out and out Western track, it would have scaled the charts by now had it been picturised for a big banner film. Written by Vipin Dhyani, 'Sansanati' goes with the mood of the album and just like the songs preceding it doesn't break the flow of songs at all. Written by Vipin Dhyani with Pervez Quadir as the supporting vocalist, 'Sansanati' is yet another situational number that should add value to the film. For the first time in the album, a male voice holds prominence in a track. Kirti Sagathia is the man in question who comes up with a love song 'Tumse Iqraar', which in spite of having a Western setting to it, has Indian melody at its heart. Written by Vipin Mishra, 'Tumse Iqraar' is the one for a coffee with your loved one on a rainy evening! Mohit Chauhan arrives on the scene with 'Jaana Hai' that is written by Vipin Dhyani. One of the longest songs (lasting over 6 minutes) in the album, 'Jaana Hai' is a number for a situation where the protagonists are looking at breaking all barriers and reaching up to the skies. A slow moving number which yet again has a situational appeal to it, it surprisingly has sad undertones to it (in its music and the way of rendition) for a number that looks at better things in life. Clearly, the choice of singer should have been different in case of 'Jaana Hai'. default-300x250.tpl Last to come is Virag Mishra written 'Koshish Koshish' that has Krishna coming up with full throated 'sufi' rendition. One of the better tracks in the album that could well be placed around the film's pre-climax, 'Koshish Koshish' should do well as a part of the film's background score as the protagonists pull themselves up for the big occasion. Lastly, there are 8 background pieces (lasting close to 15 minutes in total) which form a part of the album. 'Dance Class' is the one for the namesake situation and makes an instant impression. It should set the feet tapping as it plays during the film. 'Audition' is a fusion of Indian classical and Western base and should be interesting to watch. There is an extended version of the same track which appears later in the album. 'Aftab-Suhani Competition' makes for a better listening which is an engaging 100 seconds piece. It would be interesting though to see how 'Suhani Madness' (which appears in two parts) is brought on screen. One expected a 'maddening' outing here but surprisingly that's not really the case. The pace picks up after a minute though and does justify the title of the track. Rap-n-reggae is followed by Indian classical for 'Kids' Audition' and 'Kids Performance' which, just like all the background pieces, is only 100 seconds duration each. OVERALL Let's Dance is a kind of album that works mainly if the film works. While none of the tracks in Let's Dance is a bad hear per se, there isn't any number that has in it to become a chartbuster on it's own. Makers would have to keep their fingers crossed for the film to do well so that the music is noticed as well. OUR PICK(S) Taare Todh Ke La, Sansanati, Let's Dance

Short Kut - The Con is On

EXPECTATIONS 'A fun outing made of situational numbers' - this is what one expects from the music of Short Kut - The Con Is On, which has director Neeraj Vora at the helm of affairs. Since the film is being touted as a fun comic entertainer, the same mood is expected to be created in the film's music too which is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Javed Akhtar writes the lyrics. Write your own music review of Short Kut - The Con is On MUSIC Shankar Mahadevan himself comes behind the mic to croon, what could well be termed as a 'tapori' number, 'Patli Galli'. A number that could also be termed as a title track due to the word 'shortcut' coming at quite a few junctures, 'Patli Galli' would have been picked up by (producer) Anil Kapoor himself had he played the lead protagonist in the film. A catchy promotional number (also appearing in a 'remix version') where the lead characters are shown to be taking a 'shortcut' in life to achieve success, 'Patli Galli' goes with the theme of the film and sets the context right at the very onset. default-300x250.tpl 'Kyun Hota Hai Dil Deewana' is a song composed for a film within a film as Arshad Warsi and Amrita Rao form an on-screen pair (they play actors) in a film being made in Short Kut - The Con Is On. With the trademark Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Javed Akhtar flavor to it, the song is as Indian as it gets and has Shreya Ghoshal and Javed Ali bringing on complete 'dhamaal' while going truly ballistic. More than a romantic number, 'Kyun Hota Hai Dil Deewana' stays on to be a peppy fun track and promises to touch upon the spoof element as per the demand of the situation. The album mellows down with the arrival of 'Kal Nau Baje', a romantic number that has a soothing beginning and also an old world touch to it. Yet again, there is Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy stamp on this 'shuddh hindustani' number which has Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam coming together. Set in the same mould as songs from films like Devdas and Parineeta, 'Kal Nau Baje' may not be instantly catchy but that's not even the requirement of the situation. This melodious romantic track goes after a couple of hearing and is a shift from the more popular music in the current times. A quintessential 'masala' item number rounds off the album in the form of 'Mareez-E-Mohabbat'. However, this time around instead of women, we have Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt shaking a leg as 'item boys'. Sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Nikita Nigam with Kirti Sagathia and Hrishikesh Kamerkar joining the fun as well, 'Mareez-E-Mohabbat' is for the front benchers and does well for that segment of audience. Also featuring Amrita Rao, this peppy track (appearing in a 'remix version' too) may not be extraordinary musically but has the potential to be the next 'Kajra Re' in the making if choreographers Bosco-Caesar have done their job well in getting the right moves on. OVERALL Short Kut - The Con Is On is not meant to be a musical and that reflects in the four songs that form a part of the album. The music isn't bad at all and turns out to be a decent affair overall. OUR PICK(S) Kal Nau Baje, Mareez-e-Mohabbat [Play Songs]

Sonam shoots for Harpers Bazaar in Abu Dhabi

She is someone who was destined to go places ever since her debut film Saawariyaa hit the silver screen. We are indeed talking about the one and only Sonam Kapoor, who, now, no longer needs to be called as 'Anil Kapoor's beti'. If the recent few months were anything to go by, Bollywood indeed has got its very own actress cum supermodel, the testimonials of the latter can be seen in the millions of magazine covers that she chose her to be the cover-girl and also a mega bucks deal with a cosmetic major! Talking about magazines, Sonam recently was at the dream city of Abu Dhabi, along with the super-ace fotog Atul Kasbekar (who also happens to be the suave CEO of 'Bling! Entertainment Solutions Pvt.Ltd'). For starters, Atul's Bling! Handles endorsement deals for a lot of well known celebrities. Both of them had gone there to shoot for the cover of a leading magazine called Harpers Bazaar. And no prize for guessing who the cover-girl was supposed to be! Atul Kasbekar was with Sonam at 'The Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi', and this property has been built over a period of 4 years using 20,000 workmen. Around US$ 3 billion were spent to prepare the property. A source very close to Bollywood Hungama said that "Harpers Bazaar has received a fabulous response after having Sonam on the cover. Atul has done a fantastic job and bought the best out of her. Sonam is looking absolutely gorgeous!" We just couldn't argue on that! What say, Atul?

News has been doing rounds that Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra who were said to be in a relationship have called it quits. It so seems that Priyanka was not happy with Shahid's over interference in her life and things didn't work out well between the two on that front. They did try to make the relation work, but it was just not meant to be one that would go for long as per sources close to them. A source says, “Karan is fond of both Ranbir and Imran. In fact, he loved their act at an awards function this year. He realised that the two have great personal chemistry that could translate well on the big screen.”

“Also, Ranbir and Imran have been offered numerous projects opposite each other but both have turned most films down. However, when they heard the subject for Karan’s musical, they immediately loved it.”

And apparently K.Jo has Deepika and Sonam in his mind to play the lead opposite Ranbir and Imran.

While John Abraham was in Mumbai nursing his injured foot, his girlfriend, actress Bipasha Basu, merrily walked the green carpet at the IIFA awards and said she didnt miss his presence.

'Why should I miss John? I am not missing him,' Bipasha said.

'Why would anyone miss anyone for two days? Even if he was here, I wouldn't have been able to give him enough time because I had to rehearse for my performance and he is happy taking care of his foot in Mumbai. I guess he is the one missing out on all the fun here,' she added.

Ek Aadat

EXPECTATIONS Now from where did this movie come from? With not a single recognizable face on the album cover, Ek Aadat surprisingly doesn't find much help from Google too, where there is absolutely no information listed about the film except for the countless illegal music download links. Further extensive research results in a revelation - The film's director Prakash Saini is the same man who made his directorial debut with Meri Padosan exactly two months back. What's Meri Padosan? Well, forget that. And one has similar sentiments reserved for the music of Ek Aadat as well even before a single song is played. Write your own music review of Ek Aadat MUSIC The film's composer is Sanjay Pathak who earlier this year did come up with a few good songs in Lottery that literally went unnoticed. He kick-starts the album with title song 'Ek Aadat' which is first crooned by Mika Singh and later has Sunidhi Chauhan coming behind the mike. In both the versions, the two singers go solo though one wonders if even a single outing was necessary at all. Aimed at being a fun peppy number that acts as a theme track, 'Ek Aadat' is an ordinary number (written by Tofique Palvi) which would have been a complete letdown if not for it's lively pace. default-300x250.tpl 'Mujhe Teri Zaroorat Hai' is a seven minutes long song that follows next and the immediate reaction is to pick up the inlay card and read carefully about the singer details. Well, suicide is the right way to describe the situation here as composer Sanjay Pathak does a terrible job while coming behind the mike. He is completely out of tune and one wonders if he was thinking that when Himesh Reshammiya could do it by having an unconventional voice then he could do it too. It is impossible to hear this supposedly romantic number beyond first three minutes and it would be worth an achievement for anyone who could give this number a hearing till the very end. Well, Sanjay Pathak had other thoughts as he continues to torture his listeners though a 'remix version', which thankfully is shorter in length though. It's a soothing beginning though for 'Kyun Ho Gaya Deewana' which confirms that Sanjay Pathak is a better composer and lyricist than a singer. Well, on a relative scale at least! Credit must also go to Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan who sing 'Kyun Ho Gaya Deewana' with good conviction even though the production values of the song leave a lot to be desired. A slow moving melodious track which stays on to be truly Indian, 'Kyun Ho Gaya.... ' belongs to the 90s school of the music and doesn't disappoint. Richa Sharma appears solo for 'Ab Tere Bin Hum Jee Lenge' that has lyrics that may well have been written by a 10 year old. Sample this - 'Ab Tere Bin Hum Jee Lenge, Zeher Judaai Ka Hum Pee Lenge, Mar Jaaye Bhi To Afsos Nahi, Afsos Nahi, Afsos Nahi'. Waah waah! The man in picture here? Sanjay Pathak, who takes it on himself to make Ek Aadat a complete farce. Yet another forgettable number which aims at being a sad and 'dard-e-judaai' number that may be rejected by even a TV soap! But the makers of the film do think otherwise and include even a 'remix version' of the song. And why not? After all Sanjay Pathak gets himself behind the mike for this version. Gosh! He comes back to haunt in 'Mere Pyaar Se Gehra Samundar' which is written by Razzo Hathrasi. This time around the proceedings are kick started by Kalpana and Sanjay only plays a supporting role. A raunchy item number that doesn't seem to be going anywhere, 'Mere Pyaar... ' is not just loud but a complete out of tune number which is an absolute assault on ears. A bagpiper tune opens 'Pyaar Kyun Kar Baithe' which is forgettable in the first one minute itself, courtesy ordinary lyrics and poor arrangements. Kunal Ganjawaala and Gayatri come together for this romantic duet which just doesn't have the kind of energy which one would have expected. Even though both the singers try to bring in that youthful touch to the proceedings, it doesn't help 'Pyaar Kyun.. .' OVERALL Ek Aadat is a poor album. Period. OUR PICK(S) 'Kyun Ho Gaya Deewana

It's as simple as that - Kambakkht Ishq is the biggest ever film to be released so far in 2009 and no wonder expectations are sky high. With such huge names involved, multi crore budgets, promos doing an instant trick and the full-on unabashed commercial masala appeal that this film directed by debutant Sabbir Khan carries, Kambakkht Ishq has a lot riding on it. Write your own music review of Kambakkht Ishq MUSIC As is the case with majority of Akshay Kumar movies, Kambakkht Ishq too has a special song by a guest composer and this is evidenced in the form of 'Om Mangalam' which is composed and performed by RDB with the 'shlok' portion being created by Anu Malik himself. A number which is already en route to be a chartbuster in less than a week of promotion, 'Om Mangalam' is a title song in itself as it has words Kambakkht Ishq being repeated throughout it's four and a half minutes duration. Never before has a chant being presented in such an innovative avtar but RDB make it possible with 'Om Mangalam' which is the next anthem song in the offering, courtesy it's catchy rhythm, fast paced Western arrangements, good vocals and above all, excellent picturisation and choreography. Coming again in a 'reprised version', 'Om Mangalam' continues to make an impression due to its foot-tapping appeal. Expect this version to be hot favourite with DJs in days to come! default-300x250.tpl From this point on it is Anu Malik and lyricist Anvita Dutt Guptan all the way. Neeraj Shridhar, who has been the voice of Akshay Kumar for many a chartbusters, modulates his vocals for 'Lakh Lakh'. A 'Khud Ko Kya Samajhti Hai' [Khiladi] situation revisited with Akshay Kumar being the common factor, this time on it is the 'bhangra' flavour that finds it's way into the narrative. Coming soon after 'Om Mangalam', this number is not really the best follow up number that one would have expected in Kambakkht IshqHowever, yet again, picturisation should do the trick and perhaps make 'Lakh Lakh' (that also appears in a remix version) a visually appealing number since the film has been shot on a lavish scale. However, there is immediate redemption in the form of 'Bebo' (yes, that's actually the title of the song). The number has a vintage Anu Malik feel to it, what with Alisha Chinai joining the fun. It is exciting to see Anu and Alisha coming together for 'Bebo' which promises a seductive-n-naughty outing. What also makes 'Bebo' special is the fact that from arrangements to the song styling to Alisha's voice to an overall attitude, it brings back the memories of many a musical chartbusters that Anu Malik had delivered in the 90s. This one is bound to make a mark even visually and should become popular amongst the lounge crowds. Also, as an alternative, there is a 'club mix' version that should make for a good hearing during a round of drinks! The moment name K.K. comes on the credits, more often than not one can be sure that there would be a good song in the offering. This time around, it's the turn of (bona fide) title song 'Kambakkht Ishq' to make its presence felt in the album. K.K. sings the track in high spirits while reminding of R.D. Burman who used to enjoy such outings. Sunidhi Chauhan joins K.K. for this extremely catchy number which may not be high on lyrical quotient but has in it to enable a young-n-energetic fun-filled outing. A party number, 'Kambakkht Ishq' is later heard in a much mandated 'remix version'. Much needed 'thehrav' comes in the form of 'Kyun' which again has vintage Anu Malik written all over it. A mushy romantic number that could well have been a Javed Akhtar written number, 'Kyun' sees Anu Malik getting inspired by R.D. Burman (as evidenced in arrangements that remind of the 70s). Meanwhile Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal take it upon themselves to ensure that together, they come up with yet another duet that deserves to stand out amidst all the fun, 'masti' and 'hungama' that has been an integral part of the album so far. Shreya Ghoshal is later heard in a solo version of the same song while making sure that audiences get a lot more beyond the surface in case of Kambakkht Ishq. Aaum and Sulaiman Merchant are the guest composers for the English track 'Welcome To Hollywood' which could well be the theme track of Kambakkht Ishq considering the fact that the film has been shot in a major way in Hollywood. Karsh Kale and Anushka Manchanda come together for this 'full-on-attitude' track which makes an impact in spite of singers not really going ballistics behind the mike. Written by director Sabbir Khan himself, this is one theme track which deserves to be placed at multiple junctures in the film's narrative. OVERALL Kambakkht Ishq delivers what it promised at the very onset. A 'masala' outing was very much in the offering and that is ensured by means of 'Om Mangalam' and title song 'Kambakkht Ishq'.
