Well, it so seems that not too long ago, there were reports of how Aishwarya had flown in to Mumbai just for a day to be with her father on his birthday. The actress was shooting in Kerala for Mani Ratnam’s film and apparently the moment the director got to know that it was a special day for Ash, he simply let her go. In fact, certain reports in the media went on and on about what she wanted to do all day, how important it was for her to be with her father etc etc. But what not too many people know is that Ash was spotted the very same day shooting for an ad for a luxury watch brand she endorses. She was in fact seen stepping out at around afternoon, from the south Mumbai studio.
Sources believed, Ash is not particularly happy with the way her over hyped role in Pink Panther has finally shaped up. Mid-Day in fact carried reports of how she was missing from the film’s promos, speculating that her role may have been drastically chopped. A reason why, some say, Ash may not promote the film in India, but may just appear for photo-ops abroad. I think it is quite a sensible thing to do under the circumstances.
