Raveena Tandon, last seen in Anees Bazmee directed Sandwich (2006) with co-stars Govinda and Mahima Chaudhry, is waiting for the right script to make her comeback to Bollywood. “Well, I’m getting a lot of offers,” Raveena told KT. “But I haven’t zeroed in on any project as of now. But yes, I am certainly looking forward to working again in films.” Asked what kind of roles she preferred Raveena responded, “Anything that excites me, I’ll do. It doesn’t have to do with only offbeat cinema or serious roles.” In the meantime she is keeping herself occupied as a celebrity judge on a children reality show on 9X - Chak De Bachche. A talented actress Raveena, 37, won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence (2002).Some of her other notable performances include Mohra (1994), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Aks (2001), and Satta (2003). Raveena is married to film distributor Anil Thadani. The couple has two children - a daughter born on March 16, 2005 and a son born on July 12, 2007. Asked what made her sit as a judge for a reality show with children she says: “I love children and relate to working with them. And since the show showcases children’s talent, I immediately agreed.”
